The Selling Process

Step one

Do your research!

Talk to your consultants, surf the web and get a feel for what you believe the property may be worth. This will be great starting point when you meet with your agent!

Step two

Choose an agent you trust and complete the paperwork to give them the authority to help you sell your house. You should also use this time to discuss a marketing campaign, and ensure your property receive the best promotion possible.

Step three

Your agent will implement your marketing and advertising campaign.

Also at this stage it is important to prepare your property for upcoming buyer inspections/open houses. See our tips on showing your property at its best!

Step four

Your agent will conduct buyer inspections and open houses. Your agent will also negotiate on your behalf a sale price that will be to your satisfaction.

Step five

Upon receiving a price which meets your satisfaction, you will then accept the offer from the buyer.

The contact is formed. The buyer will pay a deposit and the contracts are forwarded to both parties solicitors for processing.

Step six

Settlement! If all the conditions of the contract are met, settlements occurs on the date specified in the contracts.

Congratulations! You have successfully sold your property!
